The Buckingham Palace originally known as Buckingham House was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703. It was subsequently acquired by King George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and was known as "The Queens House". This postcard with matching stamps was sent by my best friend Tom Anderson from South Hampton, United Kingdom.
Welcome to my daily updated blog for collections of Worldwide Postcards and Airmail Labels. One of my main interest is collecting postcards and enjoy exchanges with stamp friends around the world..... The Philatelic bridge towards global friendship and fraternity.
