Vienna "Neuer Markt" (New Market) postcard from my old collection. The New Market is one of the oldest places of Vienna. It is located west of the Carinthian street in the historic center of the first district of Vienna Innere Stadt and has an elongated, almost rectangular shape. The buildings have the character of representative citizens worldwide.

Bremen is the capital of the "Land Free Hanseatic City of Bremen". At this city-state still Bremerhaven belongs. Since 1260 the city retained its independence until today. The old Town Hall (1405 - 1410) with the "Roland" (symbol of the free market) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Buckingham Palace originally known as Buckingham House was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703. It was subsequently acquired by King George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and was known as "The Queens House".
