Pavlovia, an ammonite from the Kimmeridge Clay. The fine patterns or suture lines mark the point where the internal chamber walls meet the edge of the shell. Ammonites of this quality are very rare as the Kimmeridge Clay mostly contains crushed fossils that are not worth collecting. The beaches are the best and safest place to search for fossils.
