Postcard from Norway

This beautiful scenery postcard was sent from Bergen on June 25, 2014 by my best correspondent friend Tom Anderson during his working visit in Norway.
In old Norse language, Bergen means "the meadow among mountains". Bergen is a city on the west coast of Norway, the city was established before 1070 AD and its a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Postcard from Germany

Bremen is the capital of the "Land Free Hanseatic City of Bremen". At this city-state still Bremerhaven belongs. Since 1260 the city retained its independence until today. The old Town Hall (1405 - 1410) with the "Roland" (symbol of the free market) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
