Postcard from Serbia
This area was settled as early as the Early Stone Age as witnessed by archaeological finds. At the time of the Celts and the Romans the city was called Taurunum. The Slavs settled it at the beginning of the 9th century and called it Zemlin.
Postcard from Austria
St Bartholoma is a Catholic pilgrimage church in the Berchestesgadener Land district of Bavaria in Germany. A first chapel at the lake was built in 1134 by the Provosts of Berchtesgaden. This great postcard was posted from Salzburg by my cousin Budi and Vira during their visit in Europe.
