Postcard from Austria
Vienna "Neuer Markt" (New Market) postcard from my old collection. The New Market is one of the oldest places of Vienna. It is located west of the Carinthian street in the historic center of the first district of Vienna Innere Stadt and has an elongated, almost rectangular shape. The buildings have the character of representative citizens worldwide.

Postcard from Germany
Bertram of Minden (1345 - 1415), also known as Master Bertram, was a German international Gothic painter primarily of religious art. His most famous surviving work is the large Grabow Altarpiece also known as the Petri Altar, painted around 1383. Originally located in St. Petri church, it is now in the Hamburger Kunsthalle in Hamburg, Germany. This beautiful postcard with matching stamps and special pictorial postmark was posted by my best correspondent friend Erhard Molbitz.

Postcard from England
Loch an Eilein, is a small irregular shaped, freshwater loch in the Rothiemurchus Forest, south of Aviemore Scotland. Loch an Eilein comes from the Scottish Gaelic and means "Loch of the island". This postcard was posted on June 6, 2014 by my best friend Tom Anderson.
